Now you are on board with Premier Marinas, we want you to know what is expected from us as an employer and how we look after our staff.

Personal Details

It is essential that we hold up to date records for all employees.

These records may be held both physically and electronically.

All information is held in accord with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

It is important that you notify us of any changes to your personal details.

Working Hours

Standard working hours depend on the nature of your role as the company operates 24/7, 365 days a year.

Your line manager will clarify your specific hours of work, unless your working hours are stated in your Terms and Conditions of Employment.

Other Employment

You must work exclusively for Premier Marinas unless you first obtain the company’s permission to work for or be involved in any other business or organisation.

This permission will not be unreasonably withheld, but is likely to be refused if, for example, you wish to work for a competitor, or we feel the hours of work will impact on your work pattern with Premier Marinas.

Performance Management

To help support you in your career with Premier, every member of staff has an informal one to one meeting with a manager twice a year.

At these meeting the Balanced Scorecards (BSCs) are discussed.

In October, the meeting focus is on looking back on the previous year and talking about individual/team and group achievements.

Then six months later, the April session is about the progress against your BSC and any issues that will prevent you achieving the BSC for the year.

If anyone wants to progress or is struggling we use performance development plans (PDPs) to help them gain further training and knowledge or help get them back on track.

Collecting Staff Feedback

We carry out an annual staff survey to gather feedback from all staff and help shape the senior management priorities moving forward.
